I am committed to teaching international relations in ways that give students the analytical tools to interpret a changing global order, and to helping them write clearly about complex political problems.

A First-Year Writing Seminar examining why states build international organizations, what those institutions can and cannot do, and how they change under pressure. Students develop analytical writing skills through sustained engagement with contemporary cases.
